FN Five-seveNs are pretty popular and now that FN plans on releasing a P90 I'm wondering what the future looks like for ammo choices and availability. With SS192 going for over $1 per round (more than .50 AE) I'm curious if anyone plans to release some decent loads soon or is our only choice the discontinued SS192? I've heard about the new 40 grain "varmint" load, but has anyone seen it or is there a scheduled release date? I've also heard Winchester is coming out with a load, but again, we haven't actually seen anything. For now if I want to buy an expensive, devastating caliber then I'll buy a 10mm and b**ch about ammo prices, but at least I'll know I have some options. It would be nice if Doubletap made a serious load for this and WOlf made some cheap practice ammo :)

I think the cartridge is interesting, but I'm not buying anything until multiple vendors are making ammo.

A dollar a round? Where are you buying ammo? Greenland? I just bought a bunch of it at $18.60 a box of 50. In fact I found some more at a different store but refused to buy it because it was too expensive at $23.99 a box of 50.
