When browsing at a local shop I ran across botha Kimber and a Springfield 1911 in 10mm. They were both used. I don't recall the price of the Springer but I recall the Kimber being about $750. Are either of these worth considering over a Delta Elite?

The Kimber is a nice alternative to the Colt.

Dan Wesson Razorback is another 1911 style 10mm.
The kimber is nice and that price sounds about right. I would imagine the Springers price was probably lower though.

It was lower by at least $100. It didn't look or feel as nice though. Of course a lot of that had to do with the difference in the grips. I also prefered the all stainless Kimber to the two tone Springer.

Here are two options. The left is a 10mm Les Baer HeavyWeight Monolith with his 50 yard 1.5" guarantee and target along with an RZ and its 25 yard target.
Both are great guns, and some days it is hard to pick which I want to take to the range.
