What justifies the (to me) extremely high price of this thing?

Where did you get an ar15 for $350?

That bayonet is to expensive for my tastes though. Don't realy see what it does that a current m16 bayo does not do...

Not where, but when. Back in the 80s, before the term "semi-automatic assault weapon" was invented, they were fairly cheap.

Unless this bayonet jumps off the end of your weapon and stabs the enemy itself while also sharpening and cleaning itself I really don't see what this does over the old bayonet.
