Searched the Forum for this topic, but found nothing.
I picked up a Springfield Loaded Long Slide yesterday (long story, don't ask - :D ). I intend to carry it in a shoulder rig, but want some recommendations from Forum members on which rig seems to work best. Here's the criteria...
> Durability - I will often be carrying it around in the boonies and I'm pretty hard on equipment. It will need to be very strong.
> Concealability - Not much of an issue as I don't see a practical way to consistently conceal a stainless 1911 with a 6" slide, but it doesn't hurt to ask. If I do carry it concealed, it will be under a suit jacket.
> Comfort - BIG issue here (literally). I'm a big dude - 260 lbs and a 56" chest - so most rigs feel like boat anchors on dental floss. They're just not comfortable. Nice wide straps and lots of adjustability are an absolute must.
> Fashion - a non-issue for me, although I appreciate fine craftsmanship as much as anyone.
