Just met a rather interesting fellow, longtime purveyer of High End English doubles and real regular pigeon shooter. Operated out of the DFW Metroplex, held shoots near Terrell. Currently retired. Name of Billy Hodge.
Has a place in Bosque County (complete with pigeon ring) currently.
Showed me a Purdy 28ga - .410 combo, had a certificate stating it was the only one made. I may have actually drooled on it. Also has a grenaded 870 (they DO exist)
Just wondered if anyone here knew of the guy.

Name rings a bell.
I may have to email you Smoke, run my name by him. I was a bit more lanky, may of had a ponytail at that time,mustache was bit more "pronounced" I was known to use a SX1 ,Citori, Rem3200, 870Perazzi MX8 ...to keep them from getting past that ring. Gosh that was ages ago. Used to "wander around" and shoot most anywhere - liable to show up driving most anything- a Yellow Malibu with black racing stripes, (my lady pard's car), white Olds, White Buick, Cobalt Blue Riveria Various trucks, or Surbuban...Porche, Benz...sheesh - I did live through all that afterall- huh? :)
I'd run what I brung :D
