I've been toying with the idea of having a Rem Model 7SS mounted in a synthetic mannlicher stock. Probly in .300 SAUM. Saw one like it in a magazine (guy named it his Storm Rifle) back in 1995 and fell in love with it.

The stock was by Garrett Accur-Light. Used to be in Colorado...I've tried to track him down but no good. Think they might be out of business.

I've always had a thing for Mannlicher stocks, and CZ makes a great product. One of those in .308 may just make me toss out the Evil Black Rifle with the coffee maker and weather station bolted to it.

While part of the stock resembles a Mannlicher-Schoenauer, the rear portion of this CZ resembles nothing more than a dead possum.

None of my Mannlicher-Schoenauer rifles, my Ruger M77 International resemble this CZ.

I've been lusting after one of those in 7x57. They're a little tough to find, apparently. CZ lists them as a special order item, and no distributors I know of have them in stock.

I'll find one eventually....
