Ok, have a new CZ redhead deluxe 20 guage over under. Really like the gun, how it shoots, nice wood and feel. Problem is breaking it open after having fired both rounds. Almost have to break the thing over my knee to get open. Really really stiff. When it does break open the empty shells eject pretty far. When breaking open on empty is still a little stiff also.
Does this loosen up after time? Is there anything a gunsmith could do to make this more smooth (polish the metal, etc..)
Thanks.

O/U's should break in over time.
I have been wanting to see one of those. I think that is my upland gun for next season. And also to train my dogs with on quail, etc..... Can you get some pics of it????
Wow, just noticed you were in Cambodia. Sooksabuy. :)

Sorry, no photos, it is back in Indiana. Just came back from there and was shooting it for one day after I bought it. Other than it being stiff, it is really nice for the money from what I can see. Paid about $650 for it. Wood is nicer than on some I have seen going for 3x that. Shoots nice. Definately a keeper, just wish it was not so stiff to break open!! First 20 g I have owned and really like it.

It will break in over time, just keep shooting it.

Work polish it by shooting it, that'll smooth things up.....
