120 rds fired, mostly Ficcohi ball, some Fed 115+p+, 125 Gold Dots+p and Fed Nyclad.
No malfunctions with supplied mags, Some failure to feeds with old style MK mags I had around.
Very pleased with reliability
Accuracy could be better. Getting 6"-8" at 25 yds. The front sight is rather loose and drifting out of its dovetail constantly when firing. I hope groups improve to match my P9 once that is fixed.
Very pleased with my PM9

6 to 8 inches at 25yds :what: :what: :what:
That's great for that size gun...not sure what else you expect. That gun is designed for CQB...not bullseye shooting.
Glad to hear it's running good :)

Yikes.
Off hand groups? I hope they weren't bench rested groups! :D
I've been wanting one, but I'm still waiting for all the bugs to get worked out of them.
Good Shooting

Get some snap caps and dry fire to make sure your trigger control is okay. The top of the PM9 slide is very flat so the dime trick won't help that much, but if you secure a laser pointer (presuming you don't have a workable laser sight) to the gun, you can use it to help perfect your trigger control.
You should be able to get much tighter groups after the gun is broken in and you to it! :D

these groups were from a rest. I am pretty sure once I stake the ft sight to sit still groups will improve. I get sub 3" groups with my P9 all the time at the same range

gau5gunner:
Before you buy any more 1911 9mm magazines
read this.
It is no secret that the 9mm can be a finicky
feeder in a government model because of the
short overall length of the cartridge. The
gun was designed to feed much longer
cartridges like 45acp and 38super.
Over the years, I have been fighting this
problem.
I recently tried one of the new modified
Springfield 9mm magazines with the crimp in
the front. These are the new ones modified by
and available only through the Springfield
custom shop at this time. Metal Form actually
makes the magazines. They have a little feed
ramp formed onto the front of the magazine.
When they first came out, the feed ramp was
too high causing problems for some people.
Springfield buys the magazines and modifies
them by lowering the feed ramp. With the new
magazine, not a single problem! Has feed
everything I have tried!
