Stripper Clips

Any reason why stripper clips designed for the 8mm Mauser wouldn't work perfectly for a .308 Winchester?
Same case head size and all right?

They work fine for .308, I use them in my Mauser action .308 all the time. The ones I find work the best and smoothest are the chrome plated ones, if you can find them.

Stripper clips have little 'nubs' on the sides to limit the clip travel downward into the action before stripping rounds. The little 'nubs' need to be in the right place for the rifle receiver so just because the head size fits the clip does not guarantee they will work in the respctive gun you have. Just have to give 'em a try. Good luck.
