I wanted a Bushmaster Target and a Springfiled M1A. I went with the Bushmaster. You folks think I made the right decision?

PATH, it depends entirely on what you want to do with it.

Given the cast parts issues with the M1A, I'd say "heck yeah"!

i read the Battle Rifle.com site all the time and it sounds like most of the new standard grade guns have to go back to Springfield at least once for something.....mine was no exception....Dick

If you are more concerned with bragging sized groups than stopping power, then I'd definitely say "Yes".

Out of the box the Bushy will definitely be more accurate with minimal modifications. I'm sure it was also much easier on the wallet!

I've got a extra bushy lower just begging for a 24" upper. :D

Got the Bushmaster A3 Target. It is a honey! I am still going to save up for the Springfield though!

Do like me, ....get both!!:neener:
I would suggest the "loaded" version of M1A
OR
Get an AR in 308 from Armalite and get the best of both worlds
