So abuddy came over and we shot in my yard yesterday......
Shot his PM9 kahr..nice little gun..accurate and light good for pocket carry....need to get one\
shot his Ruger p98(I think,it's the .45 polymer)..suprisingly light recoil..accurate..good value..a little big to carry but great HD gun.....ate everything we put in it..
Shot his Blackhawk .45lc......shot thru a 2 foot log!He had some kind of hard cast ammo....this thing would take out a water buffalo!
all in all a good day..used his chrono too..I chronoed my carry loads 38+p+ 110 gr. federals and was getting like 900-1000 fps as I recall..I was impressed(I should've written the info down and passed it on but when the cop showed up I got destacted)yeah a neighbor a few houses away(new guy up from the City)called the local PD..the guy was awesome....he said:these people think they're still in the city."He told me to shoot as much as I wanted as I was well within my rights....the fact that my one neighbor is a judge probably helped.I always call the people closest to me just as a curtisy...the cop took my name and number and said next time he'll just call to make sure it's me,so he doesn't have to bother me by coming out.I love living in the country!
He stayed and talked to us for like 10 minutes..but didn;t want to shoot....I've had only good expeirence with our local PD.......anyway it was good day...
