Value on S&W kit gun?

I havent seen it yet,and i dont know squat about them.Co-worker says its a blue .22lr in excellent condition and is about 20 years old.He thinks its a 4".How much would it be worth ?

In steel frame, from $275-$325. In alloy, add $50-$75. These things vary widely depending on what area of the country you're in.

The Smith & Wesson model 34 (2" barrel "Kit Gun)
would demand a premium; especially in nickel, and
in LNIB condition.

What would a 3" model 43 (airweight kit gun) go for, I think the last year they were made was 1973.
