I finally learned how to post pics so I wanted to post these pics of my CMP Garands. I Joined THR about 2 1/2 years ago and got bit by the Garand bug after reading about the CMP on here. Now I'd like to show ya'll what you have done to me. :) 2 Pre War Springfields, 1 Post war Springfield,1 HRA, and 1 Winchester

I like the bottom. Worn finish and dark wood just appeal to me. Signifies that the gun has been beaten to hell and survived while protecting America. And, it is fun to see people's reaction when you tell them you are selling the clean rifle because it is in better shape than your other one :D

EDIT: Heck, who am I kidding? I like them all :D

I'd do all you can to dig up the money quick, waffen. They are going up in price and going quick. Last check, CMP was out of service grades.

Nice, I just got mine fixed. I had to Mcgiver it and repair it with:

piece of 30 gauge hobby wire :scrutiny:
2x4 :confused:
Ballpeen hammer :eek:

I'll let you guess what I did before I tell. :neener:
