Ok, I'll admit it I have handguns for all occasions. From ones I wear when I get dressed up (my svelte Sig P230) to others when I am going out to more 'interesting' sections of town (VIP in Super 38).
Somedays I am in the mood for a 220 Sig others I want the Browning HiPower.
Does anyone else out there have a gun for each occasion?

Warm weather/light clothing - Kahr PM9

Cool weather/heavier clothing - Glock 17

At one time I carried a 1911 but it proved far too big and heavy for all day carry.

For dress up occasions the SIG 230 (stainless). Although sometimes for walks too.

Warm weather, where clothing does not allow strong side carry, fanny pack with a S&W Model 60 Chiefs Special (stainless) in .38 special. I'll sometimes put that one in an Uncle Mike's cloth type holster (during long sweatty walks).

Regular carry gun warm weather and cold the SIG 225 in an Alessi strong side leather holster.

If I'm really expecting trouble or if the SIG 225 is otherwise undergoing cleaning or maintenance, the SIG 226 (9mm) my competition gun in a Galco Gaskins Avenger. :)

I manage to get by year-round with one of the following:

S&W 65LS 3"
S&W 66/2 3"
Colt Commander Series 70

In the Finger lakes, we have cold, bitter, windy winters and summers top out in the low 90s for 2-3 weeks, mostl in the mid to upper 70s, low 80s.

Any of those guns listed above is easily concealed in shorts and a loose-fitting untucked shirt.

The more I think about it, my 3" GP100 fills many roles nicely.

A concealable .357 is hard to beat in any role.

I wonder why the 3" revolver has fallen out of favor with gun makers?

i believe glock is the gun for all seasons. the reason i think this is the finish on a glock is hard to rust and the rest is plastic
