I was wondering if you all could help me get some recipes for working up a load for my new nagant. I need to learn some basic starter recipes to get a start working up a round in the 180gr. to 200gr. range. The gun it's self is the short barrel tanker mod. and I need to know where to start.

Thanks for the help,
DarthBubba

Here's Hodgdon's data from their website. Standard discalimer: get a couple of reloading manuals and read them before you start pouring powder.

Thanks for the reply Dave R.,
But to clarify my question What I was wondering is, have any of the participants of this sight worked up a load on the mod.44 nagant with a 20" barrel that they would be willing to share? I have some reloading data for the bullet it's self from the Lee book but that is an old book and is a fairly limited listing using a 24" barrel .

Thanks again Dave,
DarthBubba
