KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police said they arrested a man for spitting on two-time Academy Award-winning actress Jane Fonda during a book-signing stop in Kansas City Tuesday night.

Fonda, 67, spoke at Unity Temple, in The Plaza shopping district, about her new best-selling book, "My Life So Far," and her new movie with Jennifer Lopez called "Monster-In-Law."

Jane Fonda may be a treasonous bitch, but this guy is no better than these college idiots who throw pies at conservative speakers. Plus it puts her in the news and will help her book sales. The best thing we could do to her would be to ignore her and let her book tank.

petrel800, I can't agree in this case. Jane Fonda is suffering the consequences of her behavior. If she had disavowed her behavior in Vietnam at any time in her life I would consider the matter closed. She hasn't done this and if Viet Vets hold her in contempt (they are the ones who "earned the right" to hold her accountable) then she can deal with their expression of that contempt.
