the store clerk won a close-quarters shootout, but he might have done better to quit while he was ahead. That's one less robber, but all of a sudden the clerk went from being a hero to also being in big risk of criminal charges himself. I hope the clerk got through all right - does anybody know?
His second mistake was altering the scene - a bad idea even when you aren't on camera!
A tactical point is that a customer who walks backward toward a counter may be getting ready to attack - does anyone know where to find a list of "pre-robbery" behavior signs?
