The Model 66 is an outstanding firearm. Being a -2 puts it between 1982 and 1986. Pros are that it is a very good revolver. No cons that I can think of. I say get it.

Nice guns, you should like it a lot. Usually wonderful shooters. Same model as the famous model 19, but in Stainless.
The only cons I've heard of is the same reason S&W changed the gun for 2005. The fact that it's frame was designed back in the day when the .357 Magnum was not as HOT a load as it is today.
Supposedly, you can shoot the gun to an early death if you shoot tons of 125 grain hot 357 magnums.
The model has actually been dropped from the S&W line for 2005 and replaced with the model 620.

FYI, the 620 has a MSRP of $669.
