I just picked up new 3913 pre-rail, 7 shot, TSW. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I cannot get the hammer to drop using the decocker. With magazine removed, I racked the slide, put the empty magazine in, move the decocking lever from 9 o'clock to 7 o'clock, and nothing. Also, if I dry-fire to drop the hammer and try to put it on safe, nothing again. In both circumstances, I can move the lever to 7 o'clock, however, it just springs back to 9 o'clock. Any help appreciated. My first try with a TDA.

Thanks. I did call S&W and they are sending out a shipping label. It turns out it is a spring loaded decocker, however, it only works with the magazine released.
