I recently inherited an old J. Stevens 620, U.S. marked riot pump 12 ga. with what looks like an 10-20" bbl. Except for where the forearm slides along the magazine tube, it has most of the original grey finish. Does anyone have a ballpark guesstimate of it's value? Thanks.

Collector value is whatever you can get, Sobell.
One like this in better than NRA Good,I'd say reasonably between $500-800 in this area. But...
Like Model 12s and 97s, these appeal enough to Martial collectors that forgeries occur.
And, collector prices vary like the stock market and oft in conjuction with it. Slow economy means slower sales on non vital items, like collector's item shotguns.
The Small Arms Shop at savageparts.com may be able to pin it down better for you.
HTH....
