Hi all,

I am looking to buy my first rifle. I have decided on 308 cal. and am looking arround for what is availible in my price range (500 - 800 CDN) One of the gun shops I was at today had a Norinco bolt action, new for $350. the Stock is rough, but the action is very nice. The clerk at the store said they were very accurate & the last person to buy one came back after his first range trip & bought 2 more as gifts for friends. Anybody know anything about these guns?

I have other rifles that were gifts from family or friends and do know how to shoot already.

You dont need enemies if you have friends like this:D

A few years back there was a "low budget rifle"review in some finnish gun magazine. The author advised not to buy Norinco but instead spend that money on ammo of your existing guns!!

However since this was few years ago, there might have been some improvement at Norinco factories.
