And make sure to tell us how they got there!

-Mounts
-Skulls
-Sheds
-And anything else that's interesting and hunting related

I did a search and didn't find anything like this, sorry if it's a repeat.

I'll try to post mine tomorrow.

that deer w/ the moose didn't come from mn. did it?

nice mounts. i really like the first deer. looks like the taxidermist nailed that one good, getting plenty of shoulder on it. looks great!

Thanks!!! I wish I would have known about that taxidermist who did the one in the first pic when I had the others done! And to think he lives within 10 miles of our place...
You'd never know it by the pics, but the last one doing the "sneak" actually is a 14 pointer. :)
Nope, that's a Saskatchewan Muley by the moose....

Eland taken w/375 h&h in April of 2004:

11 Point Buck on left taken in S. Tx. in Nov. of 2004; 12 pointer on the right in Dec. 2005. Both w/300 Win Mag.

Top center taken on a different ranch in Dec. of 1974 w/300 WM and my son shot the bottom center w/6mm Rem. in January of 1974. Interestingly these bucks, both 9 pointers, were taken within 300 yards of each other, but during different deer seasons; my son's buck had gone through the rut, as evidenced by his broken brow tines. Very similar racks make me wonder if they were not related.

when i saw that pic, i started wondering when they started making mulies in minnesota!! lol!

taxidermists are easy to find. a good taxidermist is not as easy. all of the work looks fine to me, though.

heh...there have been mulies in MN, though! Never seen one myself, but I know of two taken within 20 miles of where I hunt. One was shot by a friend, and was pictured in the local newspaper. Actually both deer were in the paper, but I cannot recall right off hand who got the other one. With all the "news/gossip/rumors" etc of the wolves moving in, plus the cougars, I wish more mulies would migrate in here instead!!!

30+ years of hunting have resulted in over 40 different wildlife mounts. Everything from Buffalo, Mulies, Whitetails, Sheep, Squirrels, Ducks, Pheasants, etc....even a couple of Jackalope. Running out of room to store them all.

Rembrandt, so, so very jealous.
I love that display in the last picture, even the snow could be mistaken for being real.

My digital isn't up for the extreme challenge of taking a picture that isn't so fuzzy you can't even tell what kind of species it is, nevermind identifying its sex. (yes, sarcasm)

For anyone who lives in MA, a trip to R&R Sport Shop in Belchertown is well worth it, in my opinion. Mounts of many different species including cape buffalo, caribou, elk, moose, antelope, kudu and many others. Seeing the full body mount of a laying down axis deer is worth the trip itself. Plus a great selection of hunting gear and used guns.

Wow, those trophy rooms remind me of the mountain thing at Cabelas. With all the mounted animals. I am very impressed with all the pictures. If only my trophy room looked like those.

Bean, yep that's my computer room. You can't see the big bear rug very well, and there's a smaller one that's out of the pic completely. And, if you look closely, THR is up on the 'puter.
