Walther P99 QPQ Question

Hello,

I am going to be getting a P99 from Earl's this week. I really like the way the QPQ looks (not that I don't like the way the standard P99 looks), and am wondering if there is any reason why I should NOT consider the QPQ?

Is is as durable as the standard Tenifer coating?

My understanding is that it is a Tenifer coating. I bought a QPQ to go with my black P99 3 months ago and I love the look of it. Now, I just need to buy a Military version to complete the Triumvirate.:)
