I've got a .36 Cal. flintlock made by Pedersoli. It's a gorgeous rifle and Seems to be well put together as I've had no ignition problems unless the weather was really soggy. My question is: What is the high and low limit for powder? I've been loading 30 grains fffg with a pistol measure. I want to vary the charge to see what the real accuracy potential is but also don't want to get a stuck ball or overpressure the barrel. If it helps define the question, the rifle has a 42" barrel. Thanks in advance.
