I am having my Norinco worked on by a very reputable smith. Other than a minor buggered feed ramp (which is fixable) she said it shoots real nice.
So far I have had the following done:
Feed Ramp polished/issue fixed
Very minor dehorn (frame clean up)
Videcki style trigger
Bevel mag well
New Grips
Clark Grip Safety
Ed Brown Hammer Strut
Flat Serrated MSH w/lanyard loop
All new Ed Brown minor pins and springs
Reparkerize

I only want to dump about another $100 into the pistol right now. What do you guys recommend as the best bang for the buck?
I was thinking a C&S Sear and Disconnector, EGW oversized firing pin stop and a new safety lock.
Thanks! I will post pics once it is done.

I want Yost-Bonitz retro sights...but those will have to wait. They are pretty pricey as I recall.

The best Norinco upgrade is not to purcase a Norinco in the first place.

1911Tuner has written about his substitution of a new Springield barrel and MGW bushing into a Norinco 1911, which improved accuracy. A search will reveal much....
