I popped into a local pawn shop/military surplus place today and happened upon their pretty limited firearms counter. Along with the usual pawned single shots and such there were two pieces that caught my eye and I wanted to get some opinions about.
The first was a NIB Benilli Nova pump 12 gauge with ghost ring adjustable sights. All black. Wants $259 firm for it. Seemed to function just fine. I don't recall the exact model number but it took 3 1/2" shells.
The second was a NIB Norinco semi-auto magazine fed 12 gauge, model SAS12 with one magazine for $159. Also seemed to function just fine.
Price wise, too high? Too low? Just right?
Purpose wise, well, I don't have one. I already have a mossburg for home defense and a side by side coach gun so it's not like I NEED either one. They just looked kind of lonely.
I've never owned a mag fed shotgun before. Pros? Cons? Combat capable? Stick with the pump?
