[Mark whiz]

I was looking around at the Sportsman Guide site and they have good prices (or what SEEMS to be good prices) on SightX, BEC, and Barska scopes.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these brands?? I'm not expecting that much from them for the price...............but I was just wondering.

BEC sucks.

Barska binoculars suck. The lenses are distorted and looking through them gave me a headache. I can't imagine their rifle scopes being any better.
You might want to check out BSA's scopes. I know a lot of folks don't have much good to say about them, but I've been impressed with the specimens I've seen.

You can find some deals at the sportsmans guide, but I'd steer clear of their "bargain" optics (barska, bsa, etc.)

They seem to be of almost universally poor quality

That's what I figured ................. I just wanted to see if anybody had some first hand experience with 'em. Never hurts to ask around. :)
