I am very curious about these pistols. Right now Charles Daly is the importer, do these use the same slides, barrels etc. as the other Charles Daly 1911's? I.E. Armscor parts?
Do these fit normal 1911 holsters?
Are the reliable, accurate, etc?
I am looking for as much information on these and the Kimber Ten II as possible.
Thanks

I had a BUL M5 4" about 6 yrs ago. At that point (don't know about now) Kimber and BUL had an agreement. Kimber used BUL frames manufactured in Israel with Kimber (McCormick) slides. BUL was vertually the same gun with BUL rollmarks. I went with BUL because it was same gun $200 cheaper and came with blue slide not offered by Kimber. Kimber 14 rd mags fit as do Para Ord mags if you use different mag catch. I became disenchanted with 1911 style double stack configurations and sold it. My 1911 holsters fit the Bul.

We tested 2 BUL polymer-frame M1911 double-stacks. One in .40 SW, one in 9 mm Luger, both with stainless slide and adjustable sights.
Both worked perfectly out-of-the-box (about 100rds each), the recoil was minimal, nice guns for IPSC standard.
But, the fit and finish is far from perfect, the sights was offset on both examples. And the accuracy was "combat acceptable" only, 3-4" from 25 meters (5 rounds).
I know one guy who bought one and started "customizing" and the thing became unreliable.:-))
