If you get a chance, and are interested, take a look at www.loneganforgovernor.com . On many levels, I've never been more impressed with a political candidate. The Primary is a few weeks away and it's going to be extremely interesting.

Yeah, this guy is great. He has a successful record as mayor. Personally, I don't think the subjects of the Peoples Republic of New Jersey are ready to overthrow their socialist rulers.

Mike is right...there is no hope for New Jersey.

New Jersey is run by the 5 or 6 high population counties inside the 287 beltway up north. Eleven countys (of 21) went red this past election, up from seven in 2000...all but one of them in the south or west. It doesn't seem to matter.

It is a corrupt state with corruption institutionalized in the government. We should send anyone who wins elections directly to the state prison...it would save time.

We have a sword hanging over us in the form of the Smart Gun law, a new law being debated in the state senate that would add confiscation rights to the state (like the drug law) to illegal (definition to be named later) guns found on your property, Corzine and Lautenberg (gag), of the 51 state senators only 13 get a 'B' rating or above from GOA...21 get a 'D' or lower, even tho NJ is a may issue state - there are only 3000 permits issued out of a population of over 8 million.

I'm pushing 60 and it wasn't always like this, believe me. Fortunately the kids are grown and out of the house - so the wife and I are taking advantage of the housing market and selling out to move to the FreeStates of America...or at least to Pennsylvania where its only Philly that is full of moonbats.

His site is down now, but I've heard about him before. It would be great but not real likely. He'll still get my vote though and that of a lot of other people I know.

The state is gradually turning into a horrible place to live, both politically and financially. The taxes we have are so high, and I can't help but think that with the immense level of corruption that exists in the state's government, that I'm not simply paying taxes in order to help pave some politician's driveway or help him build more houses.

I want a future other than this for my kids. As romantic as it sounds to "stay and fight," there is very, very little hope that change would occur, and even if it did, it would take a long, long time. I won't be in my current job forever, and when that runs its course, so will my family's residency in the state. We really have no choice, as we won't be able to afford the taxes for much longer.

Staying and fighting is a great idea. I gave up 6 months of my life and about $75,000 in lost wages to do so. We now live in PA (going on 8 months). Life is good.

He would be a great change for us, but unfortunately I think whoever runs will be steamrolled by corzine.

I can't beleive how demented this state is - but I am happy I am not alone in hoping for change. I know there are a few fellow "high-roaders" who feel the same way!

Until I can escape to PA or NH, I try my best not to barf by being here.
