I saw an Arcus 95R revolver at the arcus website.... I am a fan of the 9x18 Makarovs, and this Arcus is offered in 9x18 caliber. Problem is I cant find anyone who imports Arcus.... I emailed Arcus from the link on thier website, ( they company is in Bulgaria) no reply. I emailed several companies and either no reply or they dont import Arcus. Ideas anyone ?? I like the Maks and reload my own 9x18's so this would be a nice piece to have. Thanks for any help.

I did some Googling and found out they make the Arcus 95 also in 9x19, .38 and .357. Couldn't find anything about imports.

From what I can find, the gun frame is the base... the options are 38/357, 9mm luger, or 9x18 Mak. The barrels and cylinders are interchangable. If this piece is reliable, it could be a lot of fun. Several people have suggested I try Century Arms in FL, but I get no reply to my posted questions about Arcus.... maybe because I am not an FFL holder or regular customer of that company.

The Arcus 95R appears to be the Bulgarian made version of the Russian OTs-01 Kobalt revolver.
These revolvers are capable of being fired using full moon clips to hold the cartridges in place, assure proper headspace and allow for faster reloading.
The Russian revolvers are not super high quality as the Government does not expect them to receive heavy use and there is the concern that the guns may fall into criminal hands and the Russian Govt does not want them to last very long with the wrong type of people using them.
The Russian guns can be had in 9X18 or 9X17,(.380 acp), calibers
The Bulgarian gun is probably built to a much higher standard as the Bulgarians tend to make very high quality wepons.
