Anyone have one of these? How are they, do they feed reliably, etc? I'm thinking about buying one just for messing around with at the range.

I assume you're talking about the ones made by Scherer. I've messed around with them a few times. They are built pretty good and I've never had a feeding problem with them. What model Glock do you have?

What price are you thinking of paying? There's a few places that have them on sale right now.

Here's the one I was thinking about buying: http://cdnninvestments.com/gl179mm33drf.html

It's made by GLOCK, $35. I have a G17.

The Glock brand ones will definitely have no problems. You can get the ones made by Scherer at TopGlock.com (http://www.topglock.com/catalog/mags.htm) right now for $21.95.

I've read enough complaints about the Scherer mags to feel that I'll only personally own the Glock-brand 33-rnders. You can find decent deals on them, pretty much $29.95 is out there every day.

I have three. Two I got on super-duper sale when Natchez made a boo-boo and listed them at $19.95 for a day. Man, that was a deal.

I use mine in my G26, and have never had a problem. I mostly keep them in the briefcase or car when I go on a long trip (nice to have backup ammo when you're away from your home territory).

I had two Scherer 33rd mags and sold them when I sold my G17, and they worked pretty good. I never had a failure out of them. When I say pretty good, the only thing I didn't like about them is they were hard to load because of the stiff spring. I'm actually thinking about buying another 9mm and I'll buy the Glock 33rd mags because I'll get them for the same price as the Scherer's.
