.357 Sig questions

I've developed this weird sensation just recently. Kind of like a nervous twitch/nauseating sensation.

It was only after much introspection that I realized it's a burning desire, way down in my gut, to get a .357 sig.

I'm currently trusting my life to a Glock 36 daily. I like the confidence that a .45 gives me for my primary concealed carry weapon. But I can't stop thinking about a 357 sig.

I'm not really looking to change my primary carry from 45 to 357, but if I chose to do just that, I need your opinions on it. How many of you carry the sig for defense?

I've also heard that the 357 is super loud. Can it be louder than a 45?

Mossy, I have Glock 31 and 32, and my wife has a 33. I also shoot several different 45ACPs (Glock, SIG, H&K, Kimber etc.). I wouldn't call the 357SIG louder. It has more of a "crack", with maybe a little less "thud" then a 45. It's a fine round, with recoil between a 9mm and 357MAG. I think you'll enjoy it.

I love my sigpro 2340.
It is louder than a .45, but it's a different kind of loud.
It's more of a supersonic crack than a dull boom.
If what you mean to ask is, "Will it cause permanent hearing damage if shot indoors?".
The answer is probably.
