I blame both of you for this one and I couldn't be happier. Sheslinger found a reasonably good deal on our new P7M8.
Tamara has seen it for real but for everybody else here are a couple of pictures.
It has a 95 datecode, hasn't been refurbished and has night sights.
I haven't gotten to shoot it yet but it just feels so right.
Chris.

Very nice. A P7M8 holds the #1 spot on my "Want" list, but it's a little too steep for me right now. I've been wanting one for a few years, now. One day, I'll be able to drop the cash on a NIB with night sights.

Nice photos. Both of my P7M8s are from 1995 (KF).

I should also thank both Tamara for letting me check her P7 out some time ago and Dr. Lunde for putting up with my stoopid reassurence questions about the P7.

What night sights are on there, Tru-Glo or something like that?

You know I never thought to look to see what brand of sights were on it. I will check when I get home.

If they say "Tru-Dot" they are made by Meprolight. I had a set on a P7M13 that I sold a while back and they glowed like the dickens... :D

I got to handle one of these at the lst gunshow. They do fit the hand well but that price.:what: $1385.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I could find a used one for about $400-500. :( Oh well, the Kahr K-9 is a close second place in terms of how well it fits my hand and they cost about 1/3 as much.
Those P7s are something special, you know it when you pick them up. They will never go down in value and they will always be collectors items. If you have one, keep it.

I can't get used to them. Looked at them when they first came out at around 300-400 bucks (if memory serves)
But just too many years of pulling trigger without thinking of grip steered me away.
I played with one and had several instances of it not going off because I hold so lightly.

Nice piece.
Had several of these over the years. They shoot very well and are one of the most accurate pieces I have ever fired due in part to the fixed barrel like the ppk's.
Don't own one now as I won't carry 9mm again for defensive needs. The only nines I own now are high capacity sig 228 and glock 17.
Oh--forgot--I do have a NIB p-5c walther thats one of 2000 originally brought into the country in mid eighties. Has W. Germany on the slide.
Have no idea why I keep it around. The 9mm is anemic for defensive purposes so if I am to have a 9mm I want it for the high caps it will hold [and probably need].
I'd say good luck but you don't need any of that with the p-7m8

Here's some close-up pictures of a P7M10 taken by 'lunde' -who seems to own every other P7 ever manufactured. This'll make you drool. Now you'll want it hardchromed!

Nice gun. Thought about buying one myself but I was afraid I might get it mixed up with my Craftsman staple gun! ;)

So bring on the holster suggestions. Preferably concealable ones. IWB prefered but a close fitting OWB could work also.
Help me accessorise the new toy. First I am going to pick up 2 to 4 extra magazines though.

I have a Milt Sparks Executive's Companion (because I specialize in tactical executions), 1.5" belt and double mag pouch. All in Sharky.
Rig cost over $300 but who cares, it's only money! :D :D :D
5-9 weeks out. Will take pictures when it comes in.

here's a suggestion for IWB...as a member of the cult of the P7 you will see it is at the top of the list....you can get it any rake you want, black or brown, and any choice of slotted pad, solid loop or snaps...at 80 bucks it is well worth it....the above rig is the htl...rides very close.....all from Matt Delfatti
