What could I look for new or execellent used, in the way of a hopefully a 6 shot 2inch barrel revolver .357 ? All steel and blue,hopefully under $ 400.00 . Want to use this for concealed carry defense . Thank you in advance ...................Mutt

S&W M19 (2 1/2" though), S&W M586 (2 1/2"), Colt Lawman, Colt Python (2 1/2"), Colt King Cobra, Dan Wesson Model 15, Ruger "Six" series (2 1/2" I think), and probably others I haven't thought of such as Taurus or Rossi.

Taurus makes new blued guns (not so simple a request theses days from S&W). They make a bewildering array of .357s that all sell for under $400.00. I do have to say that you should try as many guns as you can before you make a decision.

My first post. A casualty from TFL. I carry a Taurus 85 Ultra-Lite .32Spl.+p, 2" ,black frame, pearl grips, and gold trigger, hammer, and cylinder release. You can get them in SS frame, rosewood grips, and gold accessories. Or just about any combo you want including blued for $330.00 in my neck of the woods. It weighs 15oz's, and I carry in a pocket holster.

I have been using Winchester, 125GR, JHP, and take it to the range every other week. I have over 250 rounds through it with no problems. :)

Thats folks, for sure. All the replys have helped a bunch. Gives a much better idea whats out there . We don't have many gun shows in my area, and no gun shops in town . .But next time I can go to Victoria I'll have several plaves to shop. thanks again............MUTT
