I've got an itch for a .22 single action. This little guy has two cylinders (.22 mag and LR), a 4 3/4 barrel and groove and blade sighting. Looks just like its Blackhawk Vaquero big brother. Looking to buy new from a local dealer.

Any hands on opinions out there on handing, accuracy?

I handled one, and thought it was a nice little gun - but I have a soft spot when it comes to Single Six's.

My past experience with them is that the .22 LR and 22 WRM shoot to different points of impact, which is one reason I prefer the Super Single Six with adjustable sights. The commemorative is mostly ment for collectors, who won't shoot them.

It all depends on what you want too do.

I love my Super Single-Six, but I wish I had gotten it in stainless steel. Rugers bluing really stinks!

I gotta agree. My Blackhawk 357 has been my field gun for the past two years, and it really looks it. The blueing doesn't have the durability I expected, but I do love the gun.

My future Rugers will be stainless.
