Jeff Bartlett's site has 'em, 152 gr, $70/1000. Anybody tried them in M1?

Not personally, but I have a friend who uses them in matches in both his M1 and 03A3. He set a club record last Saturday at the CMP match with the 03A3, 287 of 300!

I've used the 7.62 Nato pull downs from Bartlett's. Bullets were immaculate, and shoot great!

It may be me, but I don't get great accuracy with any surplus bullets, but I do use them for practice.

I ahve had better accuracy in the garands with Hornady 150 FMJBT from midway, for about $43/500.

I've loaded a lot of Bartlett's pulled M2 ball for the Garand, my '03s and my BAR. The stuff is pretty good. Great value for reloading for those old battle rifles.

Many years ago I bought a coffee can full of M2 Ball, 150 grain bullets that had been pulled using a pair of side cutters!

Each bullet had shallow blade marks just forward of the cannelure. I bought these bullets cheap and figured they would be OK for plinking in a 30-06.

To my surprise, they would group 2 moa or less @ 100 yds. The wire cutter marks were not visible on some of the fired bullets, others showed, but were nearly ironed out by rifling.

I wouldn't shoot them in a match, but they would be fine for practice/plinking.

regards,
hps

If the bullets are so ugly I'm ashamed to be seen with them . I'll use them for plinking . Have used a lot of pulldown stuff and had real good results with it .
