I bought a nice, used, model 681 from a pawn shop 10 years ago. After many
rounds and one handload mishap. It was in need of repair. I sent it out with a short explanation of what I thought was needed. Within a week I received a letter quoting the cost. $108 and change including return shipping. I called with a credit card and said fix it. Less than a month later I had my gun back, new cylinder,no endshake,re-timed and new screws. It feels like a new gun.
I couldn't be happier. They really impressed me with their service.

The picture is kinda lame, My photography skills are even worse than my shooting skills...

Glad that you were able to get your gun up and running. Those fixed-sight L-frames are sweet!

I also have had very good luck with S&Ws gunsmithing service. They do top notch work, yet seem to resist the impulse to ream the customer.

Nice to hear. I think the 4" 581/681 is one of S&W's very finest defense revos.
