I'll be getting my Airweight Smith model 12 back in a few days.
I know I know you guys need a little bit of background on this,so here goes.
A few years ago one of my dad's friends had hit a spot of bad luck and needed some money,he had this Airweight model 12 he was going to sell,he knew that I liked smith wheel guns so he gave me first dib's I bought it from him for $240 bucks.
It was a steal the gun was like new,the finish on it was almost perfect except for a small bit of holster wear on the yolk, except for that one little bit of finish wear,it felt like it was out of the box new.
The lock up was solid, there wasn't any low end rattle, nothing was wrong with it at all.
Well fastforward to my high school graduation,my dad was picked up by the cops for trafficking prescritpion drugs (I had no idea what he was doing but he and my mother divorced because of that and other things) the arresting officer found my model 12 in his truck covered up in the passenger seat :cuss:
The weapon had been locked up tight in my safe, the same safe that sat in my bedroom, the bedroom door was locked, and I had one key with me while the other key was hidden where thought noone else would find it :fire:
Well my model 12 has been sitting in an evidence locker for the past two years and 6 months now,my dad's trial is tomarrow, and after the trial I am going to pick up my property.
I'll post pics of it when I get it back.
