Streamlight M3X Question

Does anyone know if this light will work on the rail of a Springfield XD 4" Service Model? Found some on sale for 129.95 on the web. Showed 134.57 shipped to my zip. :)

I would imagine so, mine worked on the Kimber 1911, Glock and generic bolt on rail for the AR.

BTW, there is NO way the light is as bright as Streamlight claims. Brighter than the standard 2 cell offerings yes, but nowhere near twice the brightness.
