Just got a Taurus 941 5" -- Now some questions please

Fit and finish look good. I think this has the potential to be a good kit gun. As reported, the SA is fine and the DA is stout. There was no manual in the box. So I checked online and found the generic Taurus revolver manual. Is there an manual specific to this model?
Regarding the DA, what can I do to ease it up, starting from the easiest solution to the most intense?
Also, can I leave the hammer down on a live cartridge?
Many Thanks

I bought a 94 (the .22 lr version) in November 2000. It has about 500 rounds through it. I shoot my wheelguns D/A almost all the time. I just couldn't get used to the very heavy D/A trigger. Other than the trigger pull they're not bad little guns. Maybe a good 'smith could work a little magic on it.
I've bought several Taurus wheel guns in the last few years and they all came with the same generic manual.
