I am not at all current with movies and have not had my television hooked up since July or so. While back in VA with Xerox corporate training last week I was able to view HBO and caught a shoot em up with Stalone as #1 hit man and Banderas trying to outdo him and do him in.

One thing that caught my attention is that they seemed to be doing major damage with Ruger MK512s. The other was that annoying habit of movie bullets kicking up sparks when they hit.

So where do I get one of these Uber Mk512s?

The movie was "Assassins".

They were using hotloaded Armor-Piercing Hollowpoint Assassin Special ammo. The sparks were from the depleted uranium penetrators.

Yeah i liked Assassins :D For the pure entertainment value. Gotta love a shoot em up. I think Banderas far outdid Stalone in that film. Just my opinion though. :) Speaking of which, what kind of rifle did Banderas have in the cemertary scene? Strange looking gun. Never seen one either.

I thought it was a tricked out Goncz carbine.

I think the "rifle" Banderus had in the cemetary was actually a carbine top for a pistol. I think they are called MMU? They make them for the 1911 and I think they've come out with them for the Glock and Beretta also. It had a scope attached to the top.

The pistols they used looked like the regular Ruger (not bull-barrel) with a chopped barrel with a supressor screwed on close to the frame. Most of the barrel looked to be supressor.
