Requiring CCW?

I had a thought the other day.

What if a company, for whatever reason, made it a requirement for its employees to hold a CC permit?

Can they do that?

What if they required their employees to carry?

Can they do that?

Well, If your a security company (providing security) I think you can and do . It's part of their business need.

Here in Washington, yes.

Here, it doesn't have anything to do with providing security.

A business can require a CPL, a urine test, a weapon, a pledge of happiness, or just about anything else they want.

Just like they can require that you NOT carry a weapon.

YES and YES.

For a security company, PA here requires Act 235 (Lethal Weapons) Certification.
