In the movie "Long Kiss Goodnight" Geena Davis is got a rifle under her suitcase, what rifle is that??

I believe the rifle in the above photo is a Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle judging by where the handguard and the barrel meet.

Ya'll looking at the wrong rifle - she does use a Mini-14 in the movie - after she gets her memory back and catches the kid smoking, who pees his pants.

The suitcase rifle is the scene in the motel room, and she almost shoots Samual L. Jackson. I will look for the rifle - it looks as if it is a take-down sniper rifle chambered in .308.....

GW45: You are right. The rifle in the case was a break down sniper-style rifle, not the Mini-14. twoblink: do a search on the old Firing Line site and you should find a thread on this question. I remember somebody answering that it was a custom-built .308 by Accuracy International or someone like that.

Yes, that is a Sig Sauer she is holding.Hard to tell, but I would say a P220 in .45ACP, judging from the size of the bore(all be it a little on the blurry side).

The gun Geena Davis uses is I believe an HS Precision takedown tactical. It was probably specially made for the movie as it has a very short barrel. You can see them at www.hsprecision.com Pretty cool, front end screws on, supposed to be pretty good about maintaining zero.
