I just saw in the catalog, there's only iron sights for the SS version of the Ruger 77/22LR, so does anybody make aftermarket sights for them??

If so, how do I mount them?

There are a number of after market iron sight options for the 77/22.

First, decide if you want a front and rear mounted on the barrel, or a receiver mounted rear.

To mount a front sight ramp-type base, you can have the barrel drilled and tapped, or have the steel base "sweated" on with soft solder.
The barrel mounted rear is mounted by drilling and tapping holes in the barrel.

A receiver mounted sight will need to have the receiver drilled and tapped.

Several companies make a wide varity of both type sights.
Among others, Williams, Lyman, and Redfield are the most popular.
In bygone years, most rifles came from the factory already drilled and tapped for front sights, and most had receivers drilled for the popular receiver sights.
Probably as a cost cutting, Ruger doesn't do this.

dfariswheel, has it mostly covered, with one exception. for the ruger M 77 types (77/22 adn 77 MkII centerfires), the No1 single shot and other ruger rifles with eh ruger intergal base system there is now a receiver peep sight that mounts to the intergal bases. can't remember the maker off the top of my head, but they've been advertising this sight in G&A, shooting times, and Rifle magainzine for awhile now.

might want to go over to Rimfire central and ask these same question there. and ask specifically about the newer no-drill peep for the Rugers.

Brownell's sells the peeps you are talking about. Very nice but also a bit pricey at around $80.
