If your state allows AOW's for mere civilians, than you can purchase this with a $5 transfer fee.

Are you serious? Only $5 transfer fee? NO WAY! Tell me more. I live in Indiana so the chances are that we can own them. Isn't there like a $200 fee also? Where do I find more info on this?

It's only a $5 transfer from a dealer with a class 3. That is if it is an AOW or any other weapon. It must have been in pistol form and never had a stock.
If you want a shotgun with a stock it is $200 transfer fee.

If you want to make an AOW it will cost you $200 for the making fee. Any further transfers would be $5.

A class 2 manufacturer makes them with no tax paid and can then transfer them to you for $5.
