I am looking at a ruger GP100 .357mag with 4" barrel.

What I want to find before I buy it is a good holster for it (just to make sure there is one out there... odd, I know, but that’s me )

So please, suggest a good holster for a gp100, here are the specifications:

I don't need it for concealment, but it would be nice if I could conceal it at least short term (think walking from my front door to my car, answering the door, etc.)

I DON'T want a belt dependent holster, so I need something with a clip or a paddle holster or something.

Needs to be fitted for a GP100, no cheap cloth generic revolver holsters.

Does such a thing exist? I see fobus makes a paddle for a Taurus 66 but not for the GP100, what gives?

Thanks in advance!

Don Hume makes a leather paddle holster that works well for either a S&W L frame or a GP100.

Hmmm, that’s kind of pricey...

Has anyone else used one of these for a GP100 or similar handgun? Are they worth the price?

I have a Don Hume Double-Nine belt holster for my 3" GP-100. I believe it was $50-55 shipped from www.gunnersalley.com (http://www.gunnersalley.com/) (just tell them the barrel length and one will be made for you). I have no problems with it, but would recommend a sturdy belt if that was the choice.

Edit: Direct link to the holster here (http://www.gunnersalley.com/product/H721).
