Just got the CDNN Investments catalog and like the looks (and price!) of the Lanber O/U's. I did a search here and didn't find too much info on these shotguns...any experiences with them? Never having had an over/under, I really have no idea what to look for.
Thanks for any info.

McIntosh calls them a lot of gun for the money.

I've no direct experience, but some folks on other BS have praised them highly.

I believe Briley is their warranty center here in the US, a bit of an endorsement in itself.

Johnpl,

I picked up a Lanber 2087 as a Christmas present for myself in December. Aside from the action being *tight* for the first few weeks it has been an excellent low-cost O/U. I normally shoot four or five rounds of trap a week, after several thousand rounds I have had 1 FTF and no other problems. The chrome bores are easy to clean.

The stock comes with a bit of cast for right handed shooters and the gun feels light and swings quickly. (Keep in mind that I am 6'2" with long arms, so just about anything swings quickly for me.)

-U/O.
