English Kanigit walking back after setting targets. Was a nice day after the rain, and good that he had some company for the first get together!

THR member Longrifleman, English Kanigit, and two of the BCSGC members visiting. Something about shooting a staplegun?

Thanks to Keyhole for the use of the range. It is an extremely nice facility. We need more folks for the next shoot. The rifle range is well done, and although I didn't have a chance to use the pistol range due to the class going on, I did check it out from behind the firing line. It is as well done as the rifle range.

The members we met were good folks and an example of the overall good quality of the club.

English Kanigit's Finn is a nice rifle!! Five in a pie plate at 100yds first time, which is a tribute to the rifle. I wasn't shooting for crap all day.

Thanks again, Keyhole.

Looks like a blast, guys. Is that a Romanian M69 with the scope on it? I just got an M69 and have been using the iron sights, but if the scope if worthwhile, please let me know.

Yep, Romanian 69. More great minds around. Scopes are a personal preference but the rifle itself seems to be accurate enough to justify the glass. I was also interested in trying the scope for another project. It is a $30 Chinese import from J&G Sales in Arizona and for the price is is decent. It is NOT a Leopold. I also used see-through mounts so I have both sights available.

Come to the next shoot, whenever that will be, and you will be more than welcome to try it out yourself.

Looks and sounds like everyone had a good time. Too bad I had to miss it. I hope to be able to make the next one. Keep us informed as to when the next one is.

Hey guys, I never checked back her. I just tossed up my own range report (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=142673&highlight=range+report) without thinking...
Keyhole, thanks for letting us use the range. Longrifleman, thanks for driving out to play. :) Everybody else, I hope to see you next time.

Keyhole, I left a donation out on your rifle range. There be a steel spinner at about 50yds thats made for .22s. You guys are welcome to keep it or I can grab it next time I come out there.

Speaking of which. Shall we start planning for the next one? :D
