I have a Sig 239 (9mm) that I very much enjoy shooting, and would like to carry as a CCW weapon in hot weather, in place of/augmenting my Smith 649. However, I am having holster issues. I have yet to find a place in Central Ohio that carries gear for the 239. Yeah, I have the Uncle Mike's cheap IWB holster, and a Bianchi "one size fits many" belt holster, but neither is a great CCW option. By office policy, I must use a holster with a "retention device" which generally means a thumb-break.
Anyone know of a well-stocked store in Central Ohio/Columbus area, or am I stuck with mail/internet ordering, just hoping I'll like it when it arrives? Or, do any of you know if the 239 will fit a holster for a different weapon, like the 220 and 226?
