From the VCDL (www.vcdl.org) e-mail:Tuesday, June 14,2005 is primary voting day in Virginia and all
registered voters can vote in the primary, REGARDLESS of party
affiliation. We urge every registered voter to go to his/her usual
voting location and vote as if your Right to Keep and Bear Arms
depended upon it, because it does!!

For Lt. Governor: Please vote for BILL BOLLING in the Republican
primary. Senator Bolling has a strong pro-gun record and deserves
your support.

If you live in any of the following districts, please vote in the
Republican primary for the following candidates.

In the 33rd House of Delegates district (Leesburg, Loudoun County,
Warren County) vote for CHRIS OPRISON.

In the 35th House of Delegates district (Vienna, Oakton, Fairfax
County) vote for ARTHUR PURVIS.

In the 41st House of Delegates district (Springfield, Fairfax Station)
vote for MICHAEL GOLDEN.

In the 50th House of Delegates district (Manassas, Prince William
County) vote for STEVE CHAPMAN.

In the 67 House of Delegates district (Chantilly, Centreville) vote
for CHRIS CRADDOCK.

Turnout is extremely low! Predictions before today were for 10% turnout, and after voting this morning and hearing the numbers from folks who have been working there all morning, I wouldn't be surprised if turnout is closer to 5%.

GET OUT AND VOTE.

I already voted, make sure to go for Kilgore for governor and McDonnell for AG. The others mentioned are good.

I was the only person there when I voted, besides the poll workers.

What's with Kilgore not responding to the VCDL survey? I always see his people at the gun shows trying to get me to sign his petition.

I'm going to have to echo the low turn out opinions. I too was the only person there, and was told very few people had come in. Which of course, makes every individual vote even more important. Polls don't close until 7 PM, ya got 2.5 hours left Virginia. :)

There's the results coming in.

As for Kilgore, he may not have answered the survey, which bothers me, but I do remember meeting him after Camp Perry of 2003, good guy, and supporter of RKBA.

So far it looks good, Bolling is ahead, McDonnell is ahead, Golden is ahead (per the Fairfax County page), and Leslie Bern is ahead in the democratic one (she's so far left that the Washington Post said she was too far left, hence we probably won't see her in office).
